The 15-Minute Full Swing Reset Drill

If your swing feels off, you don’t need a bucket of balls — you need structure. This 15-minute reset drill sharpens contact and sequencing fast.

The Start Line Aim Drill (Stop Missing Before You Even Hit It)

Step 1: Half Swings (5 Minutes)

Grab an 8-iron. Make waist-to-waist swings focusing on crisp contact. Keep your chest rotating through the shot. If the divot starts in front of the ball, you’re doing it right.

Step 2: Pause at the Top (5 Minutes)

Make full backswings, pause for one second at the top, then swing through. This trains transition and eliminates rushing from the top — one of the biggest amateur mistakes.

Step 3: Three-Ball Ladder (5 Minutes)

Hit three balls:
• 70% speed
• 85% speed
• Full speed

The goal isn’t power, it’s center contact at every speed.

Do this before every round for two weeks. You’ll see tighter dispersion and more consistent distance control.
