PPI Formula

The Pivot Performance Index (PPI)

The Pivot Performance Index is the scoring system used in every Pivot Garage 25-Round Audit.

Every product undergoing a PPI Audit is evaluated on a 100-point scale.

No mystery.
No shifting math.
No protected outcomes.

Total Possible Score: 100

Field Tests do not use the PPI scoring system.

What the PPI Measures

Each product is scored based on the role it plays in the bag.

A driver is not scored like an iron.
A putter is not scored like a golf ball.

But every category follows the same five evaluation pillars.

Performance Impact

Does it measurably improve scoring or tighten dispersion?

Stability Under Pressure

Does performance hold on imperfect swings?

Durability

Does performance fade over time?

Consistency

Can results be repeated round after round?

Value Efficiency

Is performance justified at its price tier?

Across all categories, scoring impact is weighted highest.

When the PPI Is Applied

The PPI score is applied after the completion of the 25-round audit cycle.

No early verdicts.
No mid-cycle adjustments.

Certification is earned only after the full protocol is completed.

Certification Levels

90–100 → Pivot Garage Certified
80–89 → Pivot Garage Verified
70–79 → Pivot Garage Approved
Below 70 → Removed from the bag

No rounding up.
No exceptions.

The Standard

The PPI exists to measure performance long enough for the truth to show up.

Because equipment that performs once can impress.

Equipment that performs for 25 rounds earns its place.
