Josh – Garage Tech

Golf nut. 150–200 rounds a year. Club builder. Data nerd. 6.8 handicap. I don’t settle for “ok”, I test, question, and chase a better understanding of what actually performs on the course.

The Pivot Garage is where that obsession shows up. Every club, shaft, and setup goes through real rounds, real conditions, and real evaluation and not a quick range session or launch-day opinion. I’m constantly building, tweaking, and testing to find what actually holds up over time, not just what looks good for a few swings.

I believe most golfers are being sold performance instead of shown it. That’s why I lean on data, patterns, and on-course results to separate what’s real from what’s hype. If something earns a spot in the bag, it’s because it proved it, round after round.

I’m always searching for better. Better performance, better understanding, and better answers to the question every golfer is really asking: does this actually work when it matters?

Dan – Garage Tech

Self admitted golf junkie. 100+ rounds a year. Strength and conditioning coach. 3.6 handicap. I don’t just play the game, I train for it, study it, and constantly work to push performance further.

The Pivot Garage is where that mindset gets put to the test. Every club and setup is evaluated through real rounds, under real pressure, not just clean swings on the range. With a game built on working the ball and being long off the tee, I’m focused on how equipment performs when you’re shaping shots, attacking lines, and trying to gain an edge, not just hitting it straight.

My background in strength and conditioning gives me a different lens. I understand how the body moves, how speed is created, and how equipment needs to match that. It’s not just about feel, it’s about function, efficiency, and repeatability over time.

I’m always chasing an advantage. Better ball flight control, more consistent speed, and equipment that actually holds up when you’re pushing your game. At the end of the day, it all comes back to one thing: does it perform when you need it to?

Shane – Garage Tech

Plumber by day. Golfer in the evenings and weekends. 17 handicap. Amateur club builder. I’m hooked on the game and constantly working to understand it better.  Both on the course and through the data behind it.

The Pivot Garage is where that learning comes to life. Every club and setup gets tested in real rounds, not perfect conditions, which means the results actually reflect how most golfers play. I’m not chasing perfection, I’m chasing improvement, and figuring out what actually helps tighten up the misses and build more consistency.

Off the tee is where I’m most comfortable. I can step up and swing it with confidence. But like a lot of golfers, the irons can get loose, and the two-way miss shows up when things aren’t dialed in. That’s exactly why I’m here, testing, learning, and working to eliminate those inconsistencies.

I’m always trying to get better. Better contact, better understanding, and better results. Every round, every test, and every adjustment is about answering the same question: what actually helps me play better golf?
