This wasn’t a “perfect lie” day.

This round introduced more real scoring situations:

- A few chances to get creative with the 58°

This was the biggest takeaway from Round 3.
– Distance control on partial shots was solid across all wedges
- Ball flight stayed consistent
- Trajectory was controllable
- No unexpected jump or loss of distance
This is critical.
Because most wedge shots aren’t full swings, they’re controlled, feel-based shots.
And so far, the wedges are responding the way you’d expect.
58° – Creativity & Confidence
The 58° continues to establish itself as the go-to club around the green.
– Confidence is building with creative shots
- Flop shots felt accessible and not forced
- Able to open the face and trust the result
- Ball reacts quickly once it lands
This is where a wedge either gives you confidence or takes it away.
Through three rounds, the 58° is doing the opposite.

Bunker Performance (54° vs 58°)
Two bunker opportunities gave a good look at both wedges.
– Both the 54° and 58° performed well
- Clean contact out of the sand
- Ball came out with control
- Spin was consistent
No issues with either option.
That said:
– Personal preference leans toward the 58°
Not because the 54° struggled, but because the 58° feels more natural in those situations.
Both work.
