The Pivot Constitution

The Pivot Garage Constitution

Golf equipment marketing moves fast.
Claims get louder.
Reviews get quicker.

Very little gets verified.

Pivot Golf exists for one reason:

To measure performance long enough to matter.

We do not publish launch-week impressions as final verdicts.
We do not crown winners after a range session.
We do not protect products because they’re popular.

If it goes in the bag, it earns it.

Our Non-Negotiables

1. No Launch-Week Verdicts

If a review is written before meaningful rounds are played, it’s marketing, not evaluation.

Early observations may be published through Pivot Garage Field Testing, but certification is never awarded without full testing.

2. 25 Rounds Before Certification

Performance under pressure reveals truth.

Every product that earns Pivot Garage Approved, Verified, or Certified status must complete the full 25-round PPI testing cycle.

One good range session does not.

3. Real Golf > Controlled Conditions

Launch monitors establish baseline.

The golf course delivers the verdict.

All final scoring and certification decisions are based on on-course performance over time.

4. Public Scoring Formula

Our math is published.
Our weightings are fixed.

We do not adjust scoring to protect outcomes.

5. Durability Is Documented

Grooves wear.
Faces wear.
Confidence fades.

We track it.

Performance is measured not just in moments — but across rounds.

6. Failure Is Public

If it doesn’t perform, it doesn’t stay.

Nothing in the bag is safe.

The Pivot Garage Testing System

Pivot Garage uses two testing models.

Pivot Garage Field Test

Short-term evaluation (3–8 rounds).

Field Tests provide early insights into performance, playability, and design feedback.
They document initial on-course experience, not final performance conclusions.

Field Tests do not include PPI scores or certification.

PPI 25-Round Audit

Long-term validation through structured testing.

Products are evaluated across weighted performance categories over 25 documented rounds.

Only after completing the full testing cycle can a product earn:

• Pivot Garage Approved
• Pivot Garage Verified
• Pivot Garage Certified

Certification is not a ranking.

It is a performance designation earned through documented results.

The Standard

Pivot Garage tests equipment the way golfers actually use it:

Across rounds.
Across lies.
Across pressure.

Because performance that only shows up on launch day isn’t performance.

It’s marketing.

WHERE HYPE GETS VERIFIED.
